From an early age Valeria discovered her love for hair but being born in the Ukraine and raised in the Soviet Union, she was not able to express her  passion until she moved to the United States, to her, a country of true freedom and opportunity.
She earned her cosmetology degree from one of the best schools in Arizona in 2002 and has trained and worked with platform artists and designers from Hollywood. Valeria and her family moved to North Carolina in 2005 and she began working at Cielo Salon & Spa in Charlotte. She considers Mooresville her home and wants to share her talent with the people here.

Lisa Hummel has been a licensed stylist for over
20 years. She began her career in New York and 18
years ago moved to North Carolina with her husband
to raise her 3 children. Her talent doesn't stop
with hair. She is also a faux finishing artist,
cake decorator and a fabulous cook. Her
creative flair led her to a career in cosmetology. For
the past several years she and her husband have been
involved in a local church where they teach pre-marital
classes. "What I like about being a hairstylist
is there's always opportunity to learn and be creative." |

Hillary Gromis moved to North Carolina from Southern
California when she was in high school. She
has always been creative and discovered early on
thatdoing
hair was a good creative outlet for her. “ I
feel that I have a good eye for what style and
color would accentuate a client’s
best features and I love to see how excited they
are over their new look”. She began
as an assistant to Amy Moya-Mendez in Charlotte
in 2001 then moved Lake Norman to continue her
career. |

Michelle Ivester-Rhynehas been working in the
industry for twenty years. Originally from Charlotte,
N.C. she worked in South Charlotte for Ten years
as a Nail Technician and then a Hair Dresser. She
came to the Lake Norman area in 1999 to start her
career here because she had two children in elementary
school , and knew with the area taking off, so
would her career. “ I lovecontinuing
education classes, and everything about the industry.
Cutting and coloring are some of my favorite services”. |

Kathy has been a stylist/salon owner for
over 25 years. For long as she could remember she
wanted to do hair. At 18 she started working
and never stopped. Three years ago Kathy and
her husband moved to Mooresville from Connecticut,
where she was a successful salon owner. She
and her family, which includes 3 children wanted
a better quality of life and found that this area
met all their needs. Now, Kathy has time to
spend with her family, which she so longed for and
she and her husband now have the time to get involved
with their church and volunteer activities, which
they love.

Tiffany Burnett recently moved to the Mooresville
area from Hilton Head, S. C. and graduated from
the Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology and Nail
Design in Columbia, S. C.
"Happiness is loving what you do so much that others love it too! With
that being said, I absolutely LOVE my
profession. I believe that knowledge is the key
to success, therefore one should never stop learning and
always have the goal to inspire others." Tiffany chose to become
a cosmetologist to help others see their transformation through style. Inspiring
women to feel beautiful and confident and being able to maintain their new
look is a constant goal for Tiffany.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with
her husband and decorating their new home. She
also loves working out, "googling" on
the internet and studying the stock market. One
day she hopes to travel to Paris and Italy and
manifest herself in inspriation through pursuing
her favorite hobby, fashion. |

Nail Technician |

When Donna Jones, at a very young age, turned
her cat purple, she knew she was destined to
enter the world of Cosmetology, following in
her Grandmother’s
footsteps. However, after 16 years of styling
and coloring, she decided to focus her skills
on the art of artificial nails . With her advanced
training and experience,
she feels her skills at applying acrylics and
gels with limited use of any drills, is the best
option for healthier nail enhancements.
Donna’s free time is spent at the race
track where she works for Rouch Fenway Racing. |

Receptionist |

Hanna Stutts is our beautiful and joyful receptionist
and has lived in the Mooresville area for over
40 years. She has worked in the salon industry
for almost
3 years, greeting every client with her wonderful
smile. She’s a lover
of life, truly cares about people and enjoys working
with everyone. |
